Byron Builds Boeing 717 Engine Maintenance Stands for QantasLink
Wednesday 11 May 2016
Byron recently delivered custom-designed engine maintenance stands for QantasLink’s base in Australia.
The two stands were purpose built at Canberra’s heavy maintenance base for Boeing 717 engines, offering freestanding modules designed for regular, heavy maintenance and inspection.
Providing efficient and safe access, the maintenance stands also employ a ‘no touch’ policy to eliminate risk of damage to the aircraft.
Glen Walker, Byron Chief Executive Officer, said “The innovative design of the maintenance stand is lightweight with unmatched stability and durability, allowing QantasLink’s regular heavy maintenance checks to be faster and more efficient.”
If you have a requirement for maintenance stands for safe work around an aircraft or asset contact the Byron team.
