Systems Administrator – Microsoft, Cisco, Storage
We currently have a vacancy for a Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, this role is to ensure the streamlined operation of all IT Services in line with the overall business objectives of Byron Group. This role will plan, coordinate and design IT-related activities across the organisation, as well as provide administrative direction and ongoing daily support.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Work with senior management to define all business system requirements for existing and new technology implementations
Establish the ‘IT Services Operational and Strategic plan’, including innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
Review and revise existing IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
Develop and implement new relevant IT policies and procedures as required
Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organisation’s executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
Manage the install, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals

Industrial Engineer
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. As the Industrial Engineer you will work as part of a team to design, install, monitor and develop all systems affecting the production cycle. Able to identify production process improvements (e.g. jigs, design changes, etc.)
Proven experience implementing safety, quality, capacity, capability and efficiency projects within a manufacturing environment such as automotive or relatable industry
A proven ability to troubleshoot production quality and process issues and then introduce both immediate solutions and long term preventative measures
Ability to interpret and develop manufacturing drawings and BOMs
Significant exposure to MRP systems

Electrical Design Engineer
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer with key experiences in the vehicle manufacturing industry or similar to join our team of highly motivated personnel at our Smithfield operation. You will own the drafting and design of electrical componentry for the business.

Designing electrical looms and componentry in 2D and 3D.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

A demonstrated ability in using CAD packages including experience using 2D & 3D CAD. Pro Engineer experience is essential as well as experience with Windchill PDM, Inventor or Solid Edge software would be advantageous.
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to produce high quality drawings and deliver them to a deadline.
The ability to work with minimal supervision.
Programming experience would be an advantageous (PSM, component control systems, etc.)

About the position

You will have completed ISO training and have experience carrying out audits. Exposure to the Aviation/Automotive industry or CASA regulations is highly regarded. You will have worked in a similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced BOM Engineer to join our Engineering Team. This permanent role is a key part of a large engineering team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
