Combined CAA and IRCP really kicks some goals

Wednesday, 28 Oct, 2015

This year’s CAA conference combined with the International Roundtable of Community Paramedicine attracted bigger numbers than ever this year.

Over 250 delegates including the “who’s who” of ambulance service upper management catching up and networking in between a very impressive line-up of speakers on a diverse range of subjects.

All agreed it was probably the best conference ever and bodes well for the continuing success of this annual event. All “hats off” to David Waters and his team and in particular the indefatigable, Helen Conlin, who should be crowned the Queen of CAA.

Highlights for this year would have to include the high calibre of award nominees for ambulance based projects, the Exhibition of photos of the Temora Ambulance Museum, the Byron barista for that necessary cup of coffee anytime throughout the conference, speaker Group Captain Catherine McGregor AM and the Ambulance Victoria fleet demonstration.

Well done everyone and we look forward to Byron Group and ETT being the major sponsor again next year.
