ALS Receives Overwhelming Response

The response so far to the DHS and Byron Group Automated Stretcher and Loading System road show (ALS) has been overwhelming…. comments such as “brilliant”, “this is definitely the future” and “I didn’t expect it to be so good” are standard wherever the stretcher and loading system are demonstrated. To say everyone is “suitably impressed” is probably an understatment! Please click here to view some footage of the road show.

ATS Interior Intact after Sprinter Rolls in Freak Accident!

You don’t often see crash testing which highlights the quality of ATS built products. This is exactly what happened to one of ATS’s customers a month ago, in a freak car accident.

Not long after taking ownership of their new wheelchair converted Mercedes Sprinter, the vehicle was involved in a car accident, where an unforseen incident caused the driver to lose control and roll the vehicle. Luckily no one was seriously injured and although there was substantial damage to the Sprinter, the work carried internally by ATS remained intact.

ETT Victoria on a Top Secret Mission!

ETT Victoria has recently been on a top secret mission to build a top secret vehicle for a top secret client!

The client needed a double locked vehicle to carry specialised equipment. So ETT Victoria got to work developing and building a van able to carry riot gear (Shields, Ladders etc), door and window breaking equipment (ramrods etc), automatic weapons stored in locked steel cases and personal equipment bags. All of this equipment was accessible from the rear of the vehicle.

The client also required a second row of 2 seats with room in this area for communications to be housed and for bullet proof vests (weighing 14kg each) to be stored and  easily accessible from the door ways.

This top secret mission was a huge success with the client very pleased with the result!

Pictures may not be shown due to the top secret nature of this mission!!

And the Tour Goes Ever On

The ALS Tour continues. The DHS/ETT "automated stretcher and loading system tour" has been a brilliant success and we are chalking up the miles...!

Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and now heading for Perth. And everywhere the stretcher and auto loading system is demonstrated people are talking - they have seen the future of patient handling. Whether emergency ambulance services or patient transport services everyone is in agreement, we are on the cusp of the next major change in ambulance service delivery. After Perth it's off to the Centre and Darwin and then back to Adelaide at the end of May. After this a little breather, before Tasmania.

ALS On Tour. Don't miss it. Call Kirstin on 02 8724 6831 if you have not already been notified and you'd like to see this "revolutionary product" for yourself.
